The State Government Grants SA program is now open, with $3 million in grants available to organisations across South Australia.

Minister for Human Services Michelle Lensink is encouraging eligible non-for-profit organisations to apply for a grant.

“I’m pleased to announce applications are now open for the first round of grants between $10,000 and $100,000 and I urge organisations to apply,” said Minister Lensink.

“These grants will go a long way in helping our deserving community organisations right across South Australia, including our regions."

“Priority will be given to grant applications that support the prevention of domestic, family and sexual violence, increase disability inclusion, address the cost of living or support innovation in South Australia."

“Grant applications can be made for equipment, community activities, one-off programs or services, upgrades to community facilities, activities to recruit or retain volunteers or provide learning and skill development opportunities for volunteers.”

Applications for major grants from 10,000 and $100,000 can be submitted online at www.dhs.sa.gov.au/grantsSA until 4 September 2019.

On 1 August 2019, grant applications will open for the first round of minor grants valued between $100 - $10,000 to fund smaller projects and activities and these can be submitted until 30 September 2019.
