The Liberal Government is dedicated to fostering women’s sport in South Australia and is investing $10 million over the next two years on grassroots community sporting clubs, with a focus on female and family-friendly infrastructure.

In December last year, the government increased its support of women’s sport in SA through a one-off $275,000 sponsorship of the Adelaide Crows AFLW team.

The funding will be used through pathways and development programs for young women
across the state wanting to take up the sport.
